Air Austral is an airline with its headquarters at Roland Garros Airport in Sainte-Marie, Réunion, France. It operates scheduled and non-scheduled services from Réunion. Its main base is Roland Garros Airport.

The Air Austral fleet includes the following aircraft: ATR 72-500, Boeing 737-300, Boeing 737-500, Boeing 737-800 Deliveries in December 2010, Boeing 777-200ER, Boeing 777-200LR Deliveries in mid-2011 and mid-2012, Boeing 777-300ER Delivery late and Airbus A380-800 Deliveries in 2014

Air Austral offers three classes of service: Club Austral, Classe Confort and Classe Loisirs, which corresponds to Business, Premium Economy and Economy classes respectively.

Air Austral's frequent flyer programme is called Capricorne, referring to the Tropic of Capricorn which runs just to the south of Réunion.
