SA ExpressSouth African Express Airways is an airline based in South Africa. Although the airline is operationally independent of South African Airways, its flights are incorporated within the strategic alliance with South African Airlink and South African Airways. South African Express started operations on 24 April 1994. The airline has its headquarters on the grounds of OR Tambo International Airport.

SA ExpressSA Express provides an extensive feeder network in support of its alliance partnership with South African Airways to the majority of destinations in South Africa and regionally. The airline's relationship with SAA has always been one of close cooperation which provides numerous benefits for both local and international visitors.

Not only does the SAA alliance partnership entitle customers to Voyager benefits, flight schedules are coordinated to provide hassle-free services, which include ticketing, check-in facilities, mutual branding and flight codes.

To ensure maximum passenger comfort, SA Express operates some of the world's most sophisticated aircraft. Two new 74-seater De Havilland Dash 8 Q400's form part SA Express' elite fleet. These advanced aircraft boast the quietest turboprop cabins in the sky.

SA Express also operates the Canadair Regional Jet Series 200 BER. Locally this 50-seater aircraft is also known as the Express Jet or the Dash 8 Series 300 Turboprop.

SA Express currently operates flights to: Botswana: Gaborone; DRC: Lubumbashi; Mozambique: Maputo; Namibia: Walvis Bay & Windhoek; South Africa: Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Durban, East London, George, Hoedspruit, Johannesburg, Kimberley, Nelspruit, Port Elizabeth and Richards Bay.
